Who makes it
BoardBooster is made by Axeman Tech, the company behind the Keywords Everywhere browser extension used by over a million marketers for keyword research. We have spent years working with search data, and Pinterest is a search engine with a feed attached. These tools apply what we know to it.
How the tools work
- The basics run in your browser or on our servers without an account. No sign-up, no email.
- Keyword data comes from Pinterest's own advertising metrics and from Google, always labeled by source.
- The tools are free. If paid plans ever come, they will be for heavy usage, not for the basics.
Connecting your Pinterest account
Some tools, such as analytics and publishing, need to read from or write to your Pinterest account. That connection uses Pinterest's official API and OAuth: you approve BoardBooster on pinterest.com and can revoke it there at any time. We never see or store your Pinterest password.
- Connections are read-only until you explicitly approve a specific pin to be published.
- No looping, no automatic re-saving, no follow or unfollow automation. Pinterest forbids them and so do we.
- Your account data is used only to show you your own results. It is never pooled, resold or used for research without your written consent.
Account connection launches with the first API-backed tools. Until then every tool here works without it.
