Privacy policy

Short version: we keep as little as possible, we never see your Pinterest password, and nothing is posted to your account without your explicit approval.

Last updated 20 October 2026. BoardBooster is operated by Axeman Tech.

What we collect when you use the tools

  • Tool usage events. Which tool was used, the options chosen (for example a size preset or a tone), the page, the country, and a timestamp. These are not tied to your name or email. We use them to see which tools are useful.
  • Text you type into AI tools. Topics, bios and pin descriptions you enter are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate results and are not stored by us afterwards. Do not enter personal data you would not want processed.
  • Keywords. Names and phrases are sent to Keywords Everywhere to look up search volume. Results are cached for up to 30 days without any link to you.
  • Images. The pin resizer runs entirely in your browser. Your pictures are never uploaded to us.
  • Server logs. Our web server keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for up to 30 days to detect abuse and keep the site running.
  • Rate limiting. We count tool runs per IP address in memory for up to 24 hours so free limits can be enforced.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell data, and we do not run third-party analytics scripts on the site.

Connecting your Pinterest account

Some tools can connect to your Pinterest account through Pinterest's official API using OAuth. When you connect, Pinterest asks you to approve the specific permissions we request, and you can revoke access at any time from your Pinterest settings. We never see or store your Pinterest password.

  • We store the access token Pinterest gives us, encrypted, so the tools can read your data on your behalf. Deleting your BoardBooster account or revoking access on Pinterest removes it.
  • We only read what the tool needs (for example your own pins, boards and analytics) and show it back to you. We do not pool, resell or use your account data for research.
  • Nothing is published, saved, or changed on your account unless you explicitly approve that specific action in the tool.
  • We follow Pinterest's Developer Guidelines, including the rules against automation such as looping, auto-repinning and automated following.

Cookies

The site works without cookies. If you sign in or connect Pinterest, we set a session cookie so you stay signed in. Your browser's local storage may remember small preferences, such as the last tool option you chose.

Who we share data with

  • OpenAI processes text you enter in AI tools to produce results.
  • Keywords Everywhere receives keywords to return search volume.
  • Pinterest receives API requests on your behalf when you connect an account.
  • Cloudflare sits in front of the site for DNS, caching and bot protection and sees request metadata.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for a Pinterest connection at any time. Email [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and note the change on this page.
